This shirt has a set printing price of $34.95 which includes a plain front and a large print on the back. You can choose to add either the cicada logo or Skully mascot on the front for an additional $10.
Printed on Bella and Canvas unisex shirts. These shirts are buttery soft and unbelievably comfortable for lounging and day wear.
Unisex shirts run slightly smaller than regular men’s sizes.
THE STORY BEHIND THE PRINT:
My Horror Film Club print was an idea that I had stuck in my head for weeks! I knew I needed to create this one by hand, the old school way.
On a whim when I was picking up tshirts and sweaters for printing, I found the super thick and black paint marker, I knew this marker would give me the texture and size I was looking for to create the font I had pictured in my head.
When I got home, I pulled out my big sketch book and my blank transparencies and started working with the marker playing with the different widths and pressures to create a thick, yet streaky font.
Within 20 min I managed to get the idea onto paper. Another 30 to get it just right on transparencies. I wrote each word individually, multiple times, until I got the right sizes. I cut them out and placed them on the silk screen, burnt the screen, cleaned it, and let it dry until the morning where I made my first print with it.
I may say, it turned out incredible. Exactly how I had it pictured in my head, it was now on a sweater!
